ENFORCE FLYER

FLYER

The ENFORCE – Thematic Network for Experience Beekeepers Erasmus+ project aims to make the beekeeping sector more competitive and sustainable in the face of climate change, market uncertainties, and increasing global competition. This leaflet provides a clear overview of how the project supports both beginner and experienced beekeepers in adapting to climate challenges, managing invasive species and diseases, and responding to unfair competition and honey adulteration affecting the European honey market.

The publication highlights one of ENFORCE’s key messages: shifting from mass production to diversified, high-quality, experience-based business models. The toolkit includes experience-based beekeeping programmes, gamification tools, sensory analysis of honey, and improved communication strategies for the HORECA sector (hotels, restaurants, cafés).

The leaflet also summarises the training materials, best practices, and practical tools that will become available throughout the project: educational content about bees, beekeepers, and the world of honey; the basics of honey tasting and sensory evaluation; and methods that help engage consumers and strengthen individual branding. All materials will soon be available for free at honeyexperience.eu, where news and project updates are published continuously.
