The aim of the Honeycomb project is to promote cooperation between local operators in order to sell products through short supply chains, created by beekeepers and beekeeping associations.

The project will provide an opportunity to promote local honey and beekeeping products and to bring premium quality local products to local consumers in the shortest possible way. Sales will be made at the producers’ premises, as well as via home delivery within a 50 km radius, in local shops and through an online webshop.

Although it takes more work to market and sell directly to customers than to buyers and wholesalers, it is still considered more profitable in the long run. In doing so, they focus on the importance of a short supply chain, thus creating a direct link between producer and consumer, reducing or eliminating intermediaries.

Honeycomb runs an active and demanding social media campaign, sharing not only information about its products but also interesting facts and events related to beekeeping.

The partnership has recently received machinery and equipment to add value and facilitate sales under the Rural Development Programme.

The Honeycomb Partnership of Pauleni Ciuc village offers the best of beekeeping directly to your table. The short supply chain guarantees the freshness of the honey, promoting the development of the local economy and reducing the environmental footprint. When you buy from us, you are supporting the passionate work of the beekeepers of Pauleni Ciuc and contributing to building a sustainable future!
