The Kiss family has been beekeeping since 1989, initially as a supplementary activity, but after a few years it became their main source of income. They used to have their own master beekeepers to teach them the ropes, but now that has been reversed, over the years they have helped many beekeepers learn and develop and continue to do so to this day.
Following the continuous developments in the field of beekeeping, they now have a modern, bee-friendly machine park, which makes their work and the bees’ lives much easier!
Quality production is important to them, but not at the expense of the bees, which are increasingly threatened by the dangers they face. They try to treat and protect themselves against emerging diseases, such as mites, in the most natural way possible, so that their products do not come into contact with chemicals. Organic certified producers.
Beekeeping markets its products in several ways. The family’s apiary in Székesfehérvár gives you the opportunity to personally visit one of the production steps. They also run their own vegetable shop, also in Székesfehérvár.
Online ordering is also possible via their website, the whole process is handled by family members.
Their products reach a market and demand through traditional packaging and several types of honey, which allows the business to grow in a sustainable way.
Main product types:
– producer honey
– royal jelly
– gift packs
– Other beekeeping products (candles, bee bread, honey dripper, honey pump, propolis cream, pollen)
Online sales and online presence have evolved a lot in recent years. The company has launched a loyalty programme, which means that you can collect stickers above a certain purchase amount. After collecting 5 stickers, you can choose from a variety of gifts from their products. This, along with the continuous posting on various social media platforms, is ensuring the growing popularity of the family beekeeping business.
