The Cluster honey (Fürtös méz) brand and company was founded by Nikolett Hierholcz with her sister Andrea Szűcs in the early 2010s. Andrea took care of the bees, and Niki was responsible for sales, marketing, and quality control. Starting a beekeeping career and business was not easy for the two young women. They started with fifty-five bee colonies and at the beginning encountered several problems with the bees. They had no help, in fact. The two female beekeepers met more counter-druckers. Greenhill Garden and Apiary in Hosszúhetény

If someone wants to experience how many creative ideas can be realised in an apiary, they should visit Hosszúhetény, at the bottom of Triple mountain, the garden and apiary called Green Hill. The owners are Mihály Tiber, a retired engineer and carpenter, and his wife, Csilla Tiberné Pap, is a kindergarten teacher. They have 35 years of beekeeping behind them. Mihály is skilled in metal and woodworking, toy and furniture making, and Csilla, as a developmental kindergarten teacher, is skilled in folk crafts: weaving, felting, making folk toys and stuffed dolls.

Regeneration through Education

The enthusiasm and knowledge of Adelaide, right after she completed her studies on permaculture and regenerative farming, enabled her to take over from her father (Marco) organic beekeeping company and to transform it into a diverse business model, while pursuing her own vision of restoring a sustainable environment by innovative production methods. Different “brands”, each one specialized in a sector and leveraging on peculiar tools, are engaging with the community to target the same ultimate goal!
